Lisa Larson Japan Series
Lisa Larson collaborated with manufacturers in other materials than ceramics even while she was still at Gustavsbergs Fabriker. Examples of these are Royal Krona in Skruf, where both Lisa and Gunnar designed products in glass, Skandia Present in Karlshamn where Lisa designed a series of bronze figurines and Sandbergs in Nora who manufactured a small number of Lisa’s wooden creations.
In the 1980’s Lisa worked as a freelance designer for Rosenthal, Höganäs, Duka, KF and in 1990 she designed a series of ‘Province Animals’ for Jie Keramik in Gantofta.
Since 2008, the collaboration with her daughter Johanna has developed into various textile patterns and illustrations used by licensees mainly in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and Sweden.
